Where and when do you meet?
Alpine meets in several locations at various times. Join us whenever you want, wherever you want! Times and locations are listed here.
How long is the service?
Our services usually last about an hour, give or take a few minutes.
What should I wear?
We believe that God is more concerned with your heart than with what you wear, so feel free to dress casually or in whatever way you’re comfortable.
Do you take an offering?
We don’t pass an offering plate or ask for money during the service. We do have two giving boxes near the auditorium exits which are for those who call Alpine their home church. Our weekly giving supports the ministry and outreach of the church. Click here to learn about giving online.
Do I have to sing?
We believe one of the best ways to express our love, gratitude and commitment to God is through music. At the same time, we understand that many who worship with us come from different traditions. It’s up to you: feel free to sing along or simply observe.
What else will happen in the service?
Along with a time of singing, we will also have a message from the Bible from one of our pastors.
Should I take communion?
We celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of every month. Through communion we remember and celebrate the sacrifice that Christ made for us on the cross. You do not need to be a member of Alpine to join in this event, but the Bible teaches that only those who are Christians should participate in communion.
How does the Bible define a Christian?
The Bible teaches that Christians are those who have recognized that their sin has caused separation between them and God and that the only solution to this problem is found in the work of Christ on the cross (Romans 3:23-24). They have put their trust and faith in Christ’s work alone for the forgiveness of sins. The result is the joy, freedom and security that comes from being in relationship with God.
What do you have for my family?
Alpine offers church activities for the whole family. Just click to find out more about our kids’ church and student ministries.
Do you do weddings?
Yes! For information on weddings, go to alpinechurch.org/weddings.
Is Alpine Church a part of a particular denomination?
Alpine is a non-denominational Christian church. This simply means that we are not officially connected to any one particular denomination. We have people from all kinds of different denominational backgrounds that are a part of our church. The foundation of everything we believe and practice is the person of Jesus Christ and the message of salvation and new life in Christ that comes from the Holy Bible. As an evangelical Christian church, we are united around the biblical, historical beliefs of Christianity and try not to divide over less significant issues.
Our pastors come from different denominational backgrounds as well including Baptist, Assemblies of God, Calvary Chapel, and Bible Churches. They have received their theological and pastoral training from places like Moody Bible Institute, Wheaton Graduate School, Western Seminary, Denver Seminary, North Central University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
What if I have other questions?
After the service, several leaders will be available near the front who would be glad to answer any further questions of yours or to pray with you. Also, be sure to check out our Welcome Table located in the lobby for other news and events.
