There is an urgent need for first-time donors, and your donation can make a life-changing difference. Through the Sickle Cell Initiative, Black and Hispanic donors are especially needed to help diversify our community blood supply and provide better-matched donations for patients in need. We’re also encouraging Power Red (2RBC) donations, especially from O- and O+ donors, as red blood cells are the most frequently transfused and most urgently needed.
